Commander of the 433rd Airlift Wing, Brigadier General John C. Fobian, remembers service members whose lives were lost while serving. The first five of 40 Reserve Security Forces Airmen, activated in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom returned Saturday, Jan. 12. The Airmen are all members of the 433rd Security Forces Squadron, and are the first to complete a 120-day deployment to provide security for a forward operating base.

Humble Alamo Wing Chief is Living Legacy
Chief Master Sgt. Rodney Christa stands with the bronze plaque that will be placed at Mobility Memorial Park at Scott AFB. The bust has a C-130 being loaded by aeromedical troops while a C-17 comes into to land. The Bronze work is in honor of the Airlift Tanker Association Hall of Fame's Aeromedical Evacuation Team. Chief Christa was inducted into the ATA AE Legacy Team in honor of his service during OIF and his leadership in evacuating medical patients from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast Area. Chief Christa's direction and innovation during the emergency helped pave the way for new national disaster response plans to be implemented in the event of a catastrophic disaster or terrorist attack. Air Force Reserve out of the chute
The Air Force Reserve was one of the sponsors for the 2007 Ride for the Brand Rodeo in Helotes, Texas. Chance Glocar goes for an "Eight Second Ride" in the bull riding portion of the Ride For the Brand Rodeo October, 6 in Helotes Texas. The 3-day annual event is sponsored by a committee made up of Reservists from the 433rd Airlift Wing, neighboring military units and veterans. Soft ride for rodeo kids
Action on the rough stock during the Rodeo included, bronc riding, bull riding and the Mutton Busting event for the children. The Annual Ride For The Brand Rodeo at the Helotes, Texas, Cornyval Grounds, included rodeo funfor the whole family. This year's event proceeds will go towards scholarships for area children and military members and their families who are seeking financial assistance for college.
