433rd "Alamo Wing" Honorary Commanders recognize "Hidden Hero"
433rd Airlift Wing Honorary Commanders pose with "Hidden Hero" Senior Airman Digna Norris, a bio-environmental technician assigned to the 433rd Medical Squadron. She was recognized at the annual "Salute to Employers" luncheon, hosted by the Area 4 (S.A.) committee of Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve, Texas, Nov. 6 at the Double Tree Hotel in downtown San Antonio. The ESGR is a DOD-sanctioned volunteer agency that cultivates positive relations between civilian employers and their employees who serve in the Reserve forces. The Hidden Heroes program is sponsored by the Greater S.A. Chamber of Commerce. The Honorary Commanders Program partners business and community leaders with wing senior leadership to educate them about the wing's mission in the Air Force and the national defense. "Alamo Wing" Airman honored as "Hidden Hero"

Family Day at the Alamo Wing
The 433rd Airlift Wing held its Family Day at Joint base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas on Oct. 13, 2012. Air Force Reservists were able to take an afternoon to showcase the wing's mission and build camaraderie. The families were treated to a tour a C-5 Galaxy and F-16 Fighting Falcon as well as live music, trick or treating for children, a car show and other events.

Alamo Wing host aviation students
Airman First Class Jaqlynn De La Rosa, a 68th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, explains the C-5A Galaxy's landing gear to ACE Aviation Camp students June 28, 2012 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Airmen from the NonCommissioned Officers' Leadership Development Course with their instructors and 433rd Airlift Wing Command Chief Emil Garza commemorate the conclusion of the course on June 22, 2012 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The NCOLDC is a 10-day curriculum immersing the Airmen in lessons about leadership, management and communications. Attendees between the ranks of senior airman and technical sergeant participate in the course. Phase one of the course incorporates leadership, management and military heritage.
