  • 433rd Medical Group personnel returning from deployment

    Nearly 10 medical personnel with the 433rd Medical Group, 433rd Airlift Wing, will be returning here from a short-notice deployment. These Reserve Citizen Airmen were mobilized to support COVID-19 patient treatment in New York City.

  • Special Olympics C-5M flyover

    A C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft operating from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland will perform a flyover during the 2019 Summer Games for Special Olympics Texas, 50th Anniversary at Morgan’s Wonderland.

    Maj. Gen Randall A. Ogden, 4th Air Force commander, will officiate the ceremony where Col. Thomas “TK” Smith Jr. will relinquish command of the 433rd Airlift Wing to Col. Terry McClain here 10 a.m. March 3.

  • Lackland Reserve wing honors fallen heroes

    The 433rd Airlift Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit located at Lackland AFB, starts the long Memorial Day weekend with a ceremony honoring the men and women from the Alamo Wing who lost their lives in performance of their military duties.

    A group of former American prisoners of war who were interned in 1943 at the concentration camp known as Stalag 17B in Krems, Austria will visit the 433d Airlift Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit located at Lackland AFB, on Monday, May 2, at 10 a.m. This visit is part of their annual reunion
