JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- Just under ten medical personnel with the 433rd Medical Group, 433rd Airlift Wing, will be returning here from a short-notice deployment. These Reserve Citizen Airmen were mobilized to support COVID-19 patient treatment in New York City.
The Reserve Citizen Airmen will be flying into San Antonio International Airport Monday, May 25.
The 433rd MDG provides the overall managerial, administrative and operational oversight for more than 400 medical personnel. The group's Aerospace Medicine, Aeromedical Staging and Medical Squadrons provide critical support for combat readiness.
Deployed members are both officer and enlisted, and include doctors, nurses, and medical technicians.
