    The city of San Antonio celebrated the completion of phase one of the Lackland Corridor Gateway Project with the dedication of the Tribute to Freedom sculpture March 27, 2019, at the corner of U.S. Highway 90 and Military Drive.

  • Bexar County designated as nonattainment for ozone

    Bexar County was designated as nonattainment for ozone, July 17, 2018, under the National Ambient Air Quality Standards set forth by the Clean Air Act. This designation will officially go into effect Sept. 24, 2018.

  • Civic leaders land in Lone Star State

    At approximately 9 a.m. on May 17, 2018, 31 civic leaders and six military escorts participating in the 910th Airlift Wing’s 2018 Civic Leader Tour, boarded a 912th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker bound for the 433rd Airlift Wing’s flightline, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
