On Sept. 13, 2022, Basic Military Training completed the transition to a digital campus by issuing over 500 tablets to Airmen in their first week of training.

For the first time in 825 days, graduation returned to the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Parade Field.

Winter storm warnings were issued as northerly winds at 10 to 20 knots and bitter cold fell upon the region, leading to extensive power and water outages, slick roads and burst pipes.
