  • AFJROTC unit named after Tuskegee Airman visits Reserve unit

    Thirty-three Benjamin O. Davis High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets from Aldine Texas, near Houston, visited the 433rd Airlift Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas Feb. 15, 2019. The students, whose school is named after the first commander of the Tuskegee Airmen Gen. Benjamin O. Davis, received a tour of a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft, and had lunch at an Air Force dining facility. The students accompanied by five chaperones were scheduled to compete in a drill competition in San Antonio.

    Fifty-nine Rowlett High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps cadets attended a basic military training graduation and visited the 433rd Airlift Wing here Nov. 9.
  • 25th AF/CV visits Reserve C-5M wing

    Brig. Gen. George M. “Moose” Reynolds, 25th Air Force vice commander, visited the 433rd Airlift Wing here Nov. 2. Col. Gregory P. Haynes, 433rd Operations Group commander and Lt. Col. James C. Miller, 433rd OG deputy commander, presented the Alamo Wing’s mission brief, followed by a tour of a static C-5M Super Galaxy.
  • TX National Guard 6th Civil Support Team trains for airlift

    Fifteen members of the Texas National Guard’s 6th Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team trained on preparing and loading vehicles for military airlift with the 433rd Airlift Wing here Oct. 24.
  • Baskin Elementary 3rd graders tour aircraft, engine shop

    Forty third-grade students with Mildred Baskin Elementary School visited the 433rd Airlift Wing Oct. 19, 2018. During the tour, students received an overview of the C-5M Super Galaxy and then visited the C-5 engine shop.

    Twenty-two civic leaders from the March Air Reserve Base, California area, Maj. Gen Randall A. Ogden, 4th Air Force commander, and 4th AF Command Chief Master Sgt. Timothy C. White Jr. visited the 433rd Airlift Wing and the Center for the Intrepid in San Antonio, Texas Oct. 1, 2018.
  • Citizen Airmen save life while in flight

    A reserve aeromedical evacuation crew from the 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron with the 433rd Airlift Wing, San Antonio, Texas, was flying to support patient transport missions out of Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland when they came together to save the life of a man suspected of having a heart attack Sept. 19, 2018.
