Alamo Wing executes Alamo-Bravo readiness exercise
The 433rd Airlift Wing conducted a deployment readiness training event, Exercise Alamo Bravo, here May 3-7. The exercise enabled leadership to assess its Reserve Citizen Airmen’s deployment and readiness capabilities, so units within the wing can determine strengths and areas of improvement.

Total force exercise sharpens combat-ready skills
433rd Airlift Wing aerial porters, defenders, and medical personnel joined the 502nd Air Base Wing defenders, the San Antonio Military Medical Center doctors, and helicopter crews from Texas Army National Guard, 2nd Battalion, 149th Aviation Regiment in a training exercise, Operation Dust Storm, Feb. 1 at Martindale Army Air Field, Texas.

'Port Dawgs' team with 'Alamo Dustoff' for nighttime helicopter missions
For the second time in as many months, a joint air-ground team soared across the nighttime skies of San Antonio Oct. 12 in a scene reminiscent of a Hollywood action blockbuster. On the heels of a mirror-image mission that took place Aug. 22, Airmen from the 26th Aerial Port Squadron trained with the “Alamo Dustoff” Soldiers of Company C, 2-149 Aviation Regiment, Texas Army National Guard, and an active duty pathfinder team for the tactical day and nighttime helicopter extraction and insertion of disaster-relief supplies and personnel.

Joint, Total-Force Team Soars to New Heights
The deceptively cool morning skies over Martindale Army Airfield had started their climb to 90 degrees Fahrenheit as a joint, Total Force team of Texas Army National Guard Soldiers, Air Force Reserve Airmen, and an Active Duty pathfinder team prepared for their own climb into the heavens on wings of titanium.
