Army Vehicles Go Airborne As C-5 Shows Off Airlift Muscle Before Airshow

Tech Sgt. Cody Holsey (left) and Senior Master Sgt. John Krueger (right), 68th Airlift Squadron loadmasters, use chains to secure an M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank aboard a 433rd Airlift Wing C-5M Super Galaxy at Robert Gray Army Airfield, Fort Cavazos, Texas on April 4th, 2024. The mission to move the tank to Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas provided 433rd AW Airmen and Soldiers from the U.S. Army’s 2nd Brigade 1st Cavalry Division an opportunity to conduct joint training while supporting the Great Texas Airshow, where the Abrams and the C-5M will be on display April 6th and 7th, 2024.
