433rd Airlift Wing supports Veterans Day at Briscoe Middle School
Maj. Matthew Menendez, 68th Airlift Squadron pilot, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas briefs students from Dolph Briscoe Middle School, Nov. 11, 2019, on the mission of the 433rd Airlift Wing, and the facts about the aircraft they fly, the C-5M Super Galaxy. Menendez was one of many servicemembers who participated in the Northside Independent School District’s 10th annual Veteran's Day ceremony for Veterans Appreciation Day. “Every time I get a chance to help with one of these events, I always walk away with a renewed sense of passion and gratitude for what I do,” said Menendez. “It's a win-win for everyone involved!"
