Laura Maldonado, 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron medical crew director, guides litter bearers with the 59th Medical Wing as they load a volunteer posing as a patient on board a 437th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina July 12, 2018. The volunteer was part of the Air Force Recruiting Physician Influencer tour that brought 21 pre-med, medical school, and residency influencers to Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The visitors flew on the aircraft to observe a training mission displaying the capabilities of the Critical Care Air Transport Team and how they train with Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 433rd AES.
