AMDS teaches preventive dental care to children
Kindergarteners are eager to answer questions, when Airmen from the 433rd Aerospace Medicine Squadron conducted multiple presentations on the importance of dental hygiene at Cable Elementary March 4, 2016. The presentations consisted of animated videos, tutorials on brushing and flossing techniques and lessons about what foods and drinks are good and bad for their teeth’s health. Goodie bags, with toothbrushes, floss picks, stickers and informational pamphlets were given to the children so they would be able to go home and practice with their parents about the lessons learned.
