433rd Airlift Wing headquarters flies the American flag
The American flag flies in front of the 433rd Airlift Wing headquarters, Nov. 8, 2015 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The 433rd, also known as the Alamo Wing, is an Air Force Reserve unit with close to 3,000 members. The Alamo Wing traces its history to an active duty Air Force unit organized in 1943. The Air Force Reserve is a combat-ready force, providing our nation with operational capability, strategic depth and the capacity to surge quickly when America needs us.
