New wing commander takes reigns at Alamo Wing
Maj. Gen. John C. Flournoy, Jr., 4th Air Force commander, passes the 433rd Airlift Wing guidon to Col. Thomas T.K. Smith, Jr., who assumes command of the wing during an assumption of command ceremony Jan. 30, 2016. Throughout his career, Smith serviced with the 433rd AW in numerous roles from 2001 to 2012 before becoming the 507th Operations Group commander at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
