Alamo Wing fights flu with annual shot drive

1st Lt. Anastasia Corker, 433rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, injects the influenza vaccination to a 433rd Airlift Wing Airman on Oct. 03, 2015 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The 433rd Medical Group coordinated the flu shot administering process. Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death according to the Center for Disease Control website.The medics also passed out complimentary hand sanitizer and reminded wing members about hygiene as the nation enters the flu season.
