Operation Alamo Stampede
Staff Sgt. David Zavala, 68th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, runs to get in place to spot Tech. Sgt. Edward Garcia, 74th Aerial Port Squadron passenger services supervisor, as he backs a tractor into a C-5A Galaxy for transport Feb. 7, 2015 on the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland flightline. Aerial port and operations Airmen had to work together to safely and efficiently upload cargo onto the aircraft for transport as part of the 433rd Airlift Wing’s Operation Alamo Stampede competition. The first event of its kind for the wing pitted the 68th AS and 74th APS against the 356th Airlift Squadron and 26th Aerial Port Squadron.
