Alamo Wing members participate in a Tug-of-war competition during the 433rd Airlift Wing’s 2014 Folklife Festival, Sept 19, 2014. Awards were presented to the top three participants in each event.


The Alamo Wing celebrates cultural heritage and diversity

Cleto Rodriguez (left) comedian and TV personality on Channel 4, WOAI was this year’s special guest. Cleto’s grandfather, Cleto L. Rodríguez, a native who grew up in San Antonio, served in both the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Air Force, received a Medal of Honor for his actions in Manila and in the Philippines during World War II.
