The 433rd Airlift Wing Annual Awards Banquet's key note speaker of the night was Jennifer Smith, staff chaplain for United Methodist Hospitals. Smith spoke about the four pillars of resiliency, emphasizing the importance of using the pillars of resiliency in our professional and personal lives.
The high point of the evening, during the 433rd Airlift Wing's third Annual Awards Banquet, was a special presentation of the 4th Air Force 2014 Aircrew Excellence Award. Col. Adam Willis, 433rd Operations Group commander presented the award to Capt. Adriana Valadez and Staff Sgt. Amanda Pena from the 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron on behalf of Brig. Gen. John C. Flournoy, Jr., 4th Air Force commander. The event was held Feb. 8 at the Gateway Club, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
