Alamo Wing civic leader tour highlights total force concept and education
Darlene Gleinser, senior vice president, Business Banking Coamerica Bank, takes a photo of the Aron Kodesh, inside the Jewish Chapel located in the United States Air Force Academy Chapel, which shelters the Scrolls of the Torah, during a 433rd Airlift Wing civic leader’s tour to Colorado Springs, Colo., 20-21 March, 2014. The Torah Scroll was saved from the Nazis during World War II. It was found in Poland in 1989 in an abandoned warehouse and donated to the Jewish Chapel in April 1990. This "Holocaust Torah" is dedicated to the memory of all of those who fought against the Nazis. San Antonio civic leaders visited several military facilities in Colorado Springs, Colo., to gain a better understanding of the Air Force Reserve and the active-duty units they support under the total force concept.
