Whittenberger takes command of Texas C-5 Unit
Col. William W. Whittenberger, Jr. assumes command of the 433rd Airlift Wing from Brig. Gen. John C. Flournoy, Jr. 4th Air Force commander, at the 433rd AW's Fuel Cell Hangar, Saturday, July 12, 2014 on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. As commander, Whittenberger will direct the operations and activities of approximately 2,800 people assigned to the wing headquarters and 21 subordinate units.
