More than a walk on the ramp
An Early morning walk on the 433rd Airlift Wing's C-5 parking ramp is more than a stroll. Wing members pay special attention to the ramp surface searching for any debris that could cause Foreign Object Damage. The prevention of FOD damage is a daily event for flight-line workers, but each Monday, members from all accross the wing join in and perform a FOD walk that covers every inch of the paved parking area.
