Alamo Wing hosts 15th annual Bosses' Day
The 433rd Airlift Wing held its 15th annual Bosses' Day Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, Sat., Nov. 15, 2008. The event, held in co-operation with Texas Committee of Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, helped employers better understand the time and sacrifice their employees invest in their role as Air Force reservists. Civilian bosses of wing reservists flew aboard an Alamo Wing C-5A Galaxy, the largest aircraft in the U.S. Air Force inventory, and witnessed an in-flight aerial refueling mission with a KC-135 Stratotanker over the Gulf of Mexico. Afterwards, Airmen and their civilian bosses sat down to a catered Texas barbecue luncheon. (Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Daniel Nathaniel)
