Through many small parts, the greater mission is accomplished
holds El Diablo after finding it along the flightline during a foreign object damage walk. El Diablo is a large bolt painted gold and represents the prize to enhance the Foreign Object Damage prevention walks. FOD can be from something as small as a little pebble to larger things like pens, hats or birds but can casue catastrophic damage to jet engines. El Diablo and the FOD walks reduce debris on the aircraft parking area and the risk of mission delaying damage to aircraft. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Airman Brian McGloin)
