Stired not shaken

Master Sgt. (Ret.) Jim Connell and Master Sgt. James Gomez from the 433rd Maintenance Group get a hot cup of coffee at the annual Ride For The Brand Rodeo Breakfast. The event is scheduled to coincide with the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Breakfast downtown, offered members of the Alamo Wing free breakfast tacos, biscuits and sausage gravy and hot coffee. The hot meal was welcome in the early morning hours where the temperatures dipped well below the normal for South Texas. Local merchants, including the Lackland Commissary, contributed the ingredients for the morning menu. The Ride For The Brand Rodeo Committee hosts the event. The Rodeo Committee also puts on a rodeo in Helotes, Texas, each year to raise funds for college scolarships, the share and care program and various community programs.
