The helpful information is in the bag

The 433rd Airlift Wing Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program provided brown shoulder bags embroidered with a yellow ribbon, to service members during a recent Yellow Ribbon pre-deployment seminar. The seminar was held Aug. 2, 2009 at the 26th Aerial Port Squadron headquarters building in San Antonio, Texas. The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program is designed to help service members and families prepare for challenges during a deployment cycle. Representatives from more than a dozen organizations such as the Red Cross, the 433rd Airlift Wing legal office and the Employment Support for Guard and Reserve (ESGR) participated in the event. The representatives presented information on deployment-related matters such as physical separation from loved ones, care or guardianship of dependants, family and individual counseling, employment rights and legal matters such as wills and powers of attorney documents. Seminar attendees used the bags to collect goodies and informational materials such as business cards, pamphlets and flyers.
