Citizen Airmen Support MARSOC During Southern Star ‘25

Photos

Ability to adapt and operate

Members of the Alamo Wing filled about 1,700 sand bags during the time they were deployed for the Operational Readiness Excercise. A traffic cone with the top opening widened proved to be a valuable tool to speed the filing process. The excercise was cut short as a result of weather warnings that could have placed both aircraft and personnel at risk. Luckily, the storm did not build into hurricane force winds and all members of the wing, and the equipment they took with them were safely returned to Lackland within 12 hours.
