Daughter pins chief
Chief Master Sgt. Juan Villareal, 433rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron first sergeant, watches his daughter, Vanessa; pin a Meritorious Service Medal on is chest during his retirement ceremony Feb. 12, 2011 at the Inter-American Air Forces Academy Auditorium at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. During his 33 years of Air Force service, the senior NCO from Laredo, Texas, was awarded nine military medals. Chief Villareal enlisted in 1978 and retired from active duty in 1992 as a master sergeant. After a 6-month break in service, Chief Villareal joined the Air Force Reserve and remained a member of the Alamo Wing until February of this year.
