Golden Bolt Found on Lackland Flightline
Technical Sergeant Vincent Canchola, an aircraft electrician and environmental technician with the 433rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, holds the "Golden Bolt". The bolt is planted by Colonel Dale Andrews, 433rd Airlift Wing vice commander, as part of the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks that are conducted every Monday morning. The walks ensure that there are no objects on the flightline that could be sucked into a jet engine and cause damage. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Col. Dale Andrews)
