Kimberly Herrera, 433rd Airlift Wing commander’s support staff NCO in-charge, gets into the festive mood of Fiesta 2011 by sporting a colorful floral head reef she bought to go along with her 2011 Oyster Bake volunteer t-shirt. Sergeant Herrera was one of several members from the Alamo Wing that volunteered during day two of Oyster Bake 2011 at Saint Mary’s University in San Antonio. Service members, civilians and military family members from the Alamo Wing volunteered to operate a burger booth and raise money during Fiesta 2011. Fiesta is an annual city-wide multi-day, multi-event period designed to raise money for charitable causes. Oyster Bake is one of the multiple events which raises money for charity and promotes cultural awareness and appreciation by incorporating transcendental elements such as food, music and art in a family-friendly environment.
