Maj. Gen. J. Frank Padilla, 10th Air Force commander, presents retired Col. Dale Andrews with a certificate of appreciation from President Barack Obama recognizing the former 433rd Airlift Wing vice commander's 33 years of service in the Air Force. The retired senior officer from Detroit was also presented an Air Force Meritorious Service Medal during his retirement ceremony which took place May 14, 2011 at the Inter American Air Forces Academy Auditorium at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
