433 AW Jay Leno Art Contest 1st Place artwork
Shown here is the first-place-winning painting of the 433rd Airlift Wing Jay Leno Art Contest created by Army 1st Lt. Kyle Hermanson, from the 69th Air Defense Brigade at Ft. Hood, Texas. The art contest was hosted by the 433rd Airlift Wing as part of local promotional campaign for Jay Leno's, "Tour for the Troops" performance at Lackland's base operations hangar. "Tour for the Troops," is part of the Air Force Reserve Command's "Get 1 Now," recruiting program. Lt. Hermanson said it took him to three days to finish the 18 x 24-inch; acrylic and ink art work.
