IAAFA students visit Alamo Wing

Over 100 students from the Inter-American Air Forces Academy, located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, climb inside a massive C-5A Galaxy assigned to the 433rd Airlifit Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit also located at JBSA-Lackland on Nov. 15. Since 1993, IAAFA students have visited the "Alamo Wing" maintenance shops as part of their aircraft-maintenance and logistics studies. Since 1942, IAAFA has conducted international training in the Spanish language, forging ties with Latin American military, national police and governmental agencies. The school continues to remove language and cultural barriers by building partnerships between the U.S. and countries in the North and South American continents, Central America and the Caribbean region.
