Reward Poster
The Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for credible information concerning the circumstances surrounding the murder of Staff Sgt. Jessica Ann Mitchell who was assigned to Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. CID and the San Antonio Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects or witnesses of her murder. Mitchell was shot to death with a high-powered rifle in her vehicle on IH-10 near Vance Jackson Road, San Antonio, Texas. A vehicle of interest was seen traveling southbound on IH-10 behind Jessica’s white Dodge Charger on IH-10 about 2:08 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021.

Healy talks resilience, readiness at Airlift/Tanker Association symposium
Lt. Gen. John Healy, chief of the Air Force Reserve and commander of Air Force Reserve Command, delivers his keynote address during the Airlift/Tanker Association Symposium in Denver, Colorado, Oct. 29, 2022. Healy shared stories of how Total Force Reserve Airmen have contributed and continue to contribute to the global air mobility mission, including through past exercises like Valiant Shield and the upcoming Mobility Guardian 2023, as well as operations like Operation Allies Refuge. “The mobility enterprise is key to maneuver, which is integral to our theory of victory in the Pacific, as is on-demand operationally relevant strategic depth,” said. Healy. This year’s symposium brought together 1,600 Air Force senior leaders, industry partners, media, partner nations representatives, and Airmen with mobility equities, to include Airmen from Air Force Special Operations Command and Air Force Education Command. The open environment drove discussion on issues and challenges facing America and the Air Mobility community at large, with a specific focus on the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility and the mobility joint force requirements that will yield safety and security for the nation.
