Family Day at the 433rd Airlift Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, May 3, 2014, featured a car and motorcycle show with vehicles owned by members of the Alamo Wing, both past and present. Proud owners showed off their prized cars and motorcycles during the family day event. Over 50 cars and 30 motorcycles were given the opportunity to get their photos taken with a C-5A Galaxy.

Artist, Maj. Warren Neary, an Air Force Space Command Individual Mobilization Augmentee and historian, was commissioned by the Air Force Reserve Command’s History Office to paint Capt. Adriana Valadez and SSgt Amanda Pena, both from the 433rd Aeromedical Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland,Texas. Both Valadez and Pena, played pivotal roles in saving Air Force Combat Controller, Tech, Sgt.
