"Why am I here?"
Center back: Gen. Raymond E. Johns Jr., Air Mobility Command commander, sits at the head of the table during a meeting with members of the 433rd Airlift Wing senior leadership, May 9, 2011 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. "Why am I here?" was the first rhetorical question the four-star general posed to the Airmen attending the meeting. General Johns answered the question by stating that he was visiting the Alamo Wing because it is a Reserve unit and nearly two thirds of the personnel that fall under Air Mobility Command are members of the Air National Guard and Reserve, therefore the mission and concerns of the 433rd Airlift Wing are a matter of interest to him.
