Reservists return from duty at Air Force hospital in Iraq

About 30 Air Force Reservists from the 433rd Airlift Wing are scheduled to return to San Antonio Tuesday, after a four month deployment to the Air Force Theater Hospital in Iraq's Balad Air Base.
The Reservists are all members of the 433rd Airlift Wing and specialize in patient care and transport. The reservists who volunteered for this duty, spent their 120-day, deployment ensuring wounded military members were stable and ready for transport to hospitals outside of the theater of operations where they could continue their recovery.
The group will be arriving on two separate flights. The largest group is scheduled to arrive around 11:00 a.m. at terminal one at the San Antonio International Airport. The second group is scheduled to arrive around 2:00 p.m., also at terminal one.
In accordance with airport security measures, the welcoming group will be at the baggage claim area of terminal one.
Media are invited to cover the arrival and interview the returning reservists. Those interested must RSVP to the 433rd Public Affairs office at (210) 925-5194. Arrival times are fluid and may be adjusted several times before the return. Please RSVP to be kept in the loop.

Media Advisory: The welcoming group will be at Terminal one by 1:30. Arriving at 1:30 p.m. also allows media time with families who are willing to be interviewed prior to the arrival.
