Updates about the Air Force Reserve Command's 433rd Airlift Wing are now available through Twitter.
"Twitter is fast becoming the way to communicate with people who are interested in what we are up too," says Master Sgt. Collen McGee, Superintendent of the 433rd AW Public Affairs office. "It is especially great for reaching out to those who are always on the go and rely on tweet messages on a mobile device to keep them informed."
The Alamo Wing Twitter can be found at www.twitter/AFRC_433 or, if you are already a tweeple, or twitter user, you can find it by searching for @AFRC_433. Though the 433rd AW's twitter feed is new, it is already notifying followers when the main public web page is updated, sends interesting wing facts and gets news out into the hands of interested people faster.
"Twitter will also allow us to get word to our Airmen when news is posted to the web that might help them make career or benefit decisions," says Sergeant McGee. "The speed of sending out a teaser and a link makes it a great tool in our communication toolbox."
