Two shooting stars in Alamo Wing Published April 29, 2016 By Benjamin Faske 433rd Airlift Wing JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- Two 433rd Airlift Control Flight Airmen were recently honored for their exceptional work in their career field. Tech. Sgt. Crystal Olguin, 433rd Airlift Control Flight mobile command and control, won the 2015 Air Force Reserve Command Contingency Response NCO of the Year Award, and Senior Airman Amy Dennis, 433rd ALCF mobile command and control, won the 2015 AFRC Contingency Response Airmen of the Year Award. "I'm honored that my leadership nominated me and proud to have received this award,” said Olguin, “I'm blessed to have this wonderful opportunity to work with a great group of people, being part of an ALCF team and doing what I love.” Dennis echoed similar sentiments. “It’s gratifying to be recognized and definitely sets the tone for the rest of my career,” said Dennis. “To have supervisors who have taught me so much, and then be recognized for applying my craft. I've just learned so much in the four years that I’ve been here.” ALCF Reserve Airmen manage and control air mobility equipment and personnel. The flight is part of the Air Mobility Command’s global command and control structure. ALCF provides expeditionary support in areas with limited resources. When deployed ALCF units provided communications, aerial port, maintenance, weather, and security.
