10 years later: Alamo Airmen reflect on Katrina

Chief Master Sgt. Rodney Christa, 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron superintendent, showcases the unit's medical deployment packages that are used for natural disaster relief Aug. 27, 2015 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Christa supported the evacuation and transport of evacuees during Hurricane Katrina. The mission of Aeromedical Evacuation Squadrons are to provide  highly trained crews that are equipped to provide in-flight medical care aboard mission directed aircraft used to airlift patients.
