Seven Airmen from the 433rd Air Wing were recognized by wing leadership during the October unit training assembly for their impression they left on the unit effectiveness inspection team during their visit in September.

"These Airmen are all well deserving of this recognition as they consistently show their dedication to the Alamo Wing's mission," said Chief Master Sgt. Brian Pinsky, 433rd Airlift Wing Command Chief. "They are a small example of the many outstanding Airmen we have in the 433rd and a reflection of the success our wing had during the UEI."

Five Alamo Wing Airmen were recognized as superior performers, while two were recognized for their exceptional military bearing.

Superior Performers:
Master Sgt. Georgios Athanatos, 433rd Logistics Readiness Squadron
Master Sgt. Deyanira Apolinar, 433rd Civil Engineer Squadron
Tech Sgt. Justin Meece, 433rd Security Forces Squadron
Staff Sgt. Kathleen Fralish, 433rd Communications Squadron
Senior Airman Evan Black, 433rd Maintenance Squadron

SrA Jessica Ojeda, 356rd Airlift Squadron
SrA Michael Potter, 433rd Medical Squadron

The UEI integrates elements of compliance and readiness with new inspection elements to create a new IG inspection of unit effectiveness, according to AFI90-201. Conducted by MAJCOM IGs and AFIA on Wings, the UEI is a continual evaluation of performance throughout the inspection period.
