Maj. Brian E. Hoffman accepted command of the 433rd Force Support Squadron during an assumption of command ceremony at the wing auditorium here, Mar. 4.

Col. Jeanne E. Bisesi, 433rd Mission Support Group commander, presented the 433rd FSS guidon to Hoffman and presided over the ceremony.

“We’re excited to forge a stronger friendship with the 960th through our FSS, but also [Major Hoffman] has a key leadership role with the 502d Air Base Wing here, so there are great dividends to be paid off,” said Bisesi.  “I think this is great for our nation; it’s great for our Air Force; it’s great for our Air Force Reserve.”

Hoffman gave thanks to his personal support structure and provided his expectations moving forward.

“I truly believe the most pivotal decisions and the toughest decisions of your life are the ones that shape you, the ones you remember, and the ones you grow from the most,” said Hoffman. “I’m very thankful for my support system; I look forward to the challenges ahead; I have no doubt that I will learn and grow from them; and I have no doubt that this awesome team of FSS professionals is going to impress this wing.”
Hoffman takes command of the FSS after serving as the Inspector General, 433rd Airlift Wing.  He also serves as the 502d ABW vice director.
