Alamo Wing participates in Spurs Military Appreciation Night Published March 11, 2020 433rd Airlift Wing JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- A military honor guard team, an American flag display, and an Airman singing the national anthem, officially opened the Military Appreciation Night at the San Antonio Spurs basketball game here March 10. Armed services members, family, and friends joined with other San Antonio residents to attend the game and watch the events. Staff Sgt. Joshua A. Ramos, 433rd Airlift Wing command post controller, sang the Star Spangled Banner while several Air Force and Army members displayed the U.S. flag before the start of the game. During the halftime break, recruits from five military branches were sworn into the military by an Army officer during a mass enlistment at half-court court.
