Airmen, nominate clergy for Chaplain Day Published May 3, 2019 By 433rd Airlift Wing Public Affairs 433rd Airlift Wing JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- The 433rd Airlift Wing 2019 Clergy Day is underway and what better way to say thank you to a supportive spiritual leader than to nominate them for the ride of their life. As a member of the 433rd Airlift Wing, you can nominate your clergy member to take part in the 2019 Clergy Day, scheduled for June 1. This year's Clergy Day will support up to 40 spiritual leaders and will be held at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. The Clergy Day is designed to educate spiritual leaders on the many facets of military service in the Reserve. This event will give clergy members a better understanding of their church member’s military role, mission, equipment, and the amount of dedication that it takes to hold down both a civilian and military job. Your spiritual leader will have a great time and see the Air Force mission first hand. Nominations must be received by May 18. 433rd members are asked to complete the Clergy Day nomination form and email it to 433AWPA@us.af.mil for consideration.
