The cadets began their tour with a question and answer session given by Col. Thomas K. Smith, Jr., 433rd Airlift Wing commander, at the wing headquarters building. From there, the cadets visited the 433rd Training Squadron where they met Master Sgt. Brian Mizula, 733rd Training Squadron instructor flight engineer. Mizula gave the cadets a tour of the flight simulator before heading to the flight line for a C-5M Super Galaxy tour. "Touring the 433rd AW and C-5 aircraft gives our cadets another opportunity to see the different careers in the Air Force that await them before they commission," said Capt. Glen Peoples, Air Force ROTC Detachment 842 operations flight commander. "These cadets are going to be our future leaders of the Air Force." The C-5M tour allowed the cadets to get an up-close view of the largest aircraft in the Air Force. The cadets toured the cargo hold, troop compartment and flight deck before concluding their visit. "Its just mind blowing how large and how much weight this aircraft can haul," said Cristino Garcia, cadet fourth class. "This tour has broadened my horizons on what I want to do in the Air Force, I'm leaning towards being a pilot now".
