Total Force teamwork save 3-day-old's life

Reserve and active-duty air and medical crews joined to save the life of a 3-day-old military dependant. The boy was flow from Puerto Rico to Wilford Hall Medical Center July 20. The aeromedical evacuation crew was from the 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, the Reserve aircrew from the 446th Airlift Wing at McChord AFB, and an Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygen Machine team was an active-duty medical crew from the 59th Medical Wing at Wilford Hall Medical Center. The units brought the boy to WHMC for life saving treatment. Pictured are Maj.
