Artist, Maj. Warren Neary, an Air Force Space Command Individual Mobilization Augmentee and historian, was commissioned by the Air Force Reserve Command’s History Office to paint Capt. Adriana Valadez and SSgt Amanda Pena, both from the 433rd Aeromedical Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland,Texas. Both Valadez and Pena, played pivotal roles in saving Air Force Combat Controller, Tech, Sgt. 433rd SFS troops return home from Afghanistan deployment
Senior Airman Barrett Cain III, 433rd Security Forces Squadron, is interviewed by Erin Nichols, a FOX 29 KABB-TV reporter at the San Antonio International Airport Nov. 22, 2013 upon returning from a six-month deployment to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. Cain was one of 11 433rd SFS Airmen who returned home over a two-day period. Cols. Jeffrey Pennington, 433rd Airlift Wing commander, and Craig Petersen, 433rd Mission Support Group commander, were among the family members and wing personnel who greeted the returning Reservists.

After a ceremony honoring him, Master Sgt.
