Weather Alert - Base closure

LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Due to weather, Lackland AFB reporting will only require key personnel and those that live on-base to report in today, Tuesday January 16.
Civilian employees will not be charged leave during the weather closure.
News for Wednesday will be posted when received.
Those non-mission critical personnel who are currently at Lackland are encouraged to go home as today's weather is expected to deteriorate.
Due to ice, extreme caution is advised on roads and bridges
