The Alamo Wing welcomed 43 students from the Inter American Air Force Academy Oct. 18, 2017 here. The students had the opportunity to tour a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft on the flight line at the 433rd Airlift Wing.

Once on the aircraft the students got to sit in the pilot seat on the flight deck and walk through troop compartment. After the tour the students visited the engine and sheet metals shop at the 433rd Maintenance Squadron.

Tech. Sgt. Genaro Martinez, 318th Training Squadron instructor, stressed the importance of tours like these for his students

"This tour is very important for our international students here at IAAFA because it shows them our capabilities that we have as an Air Force," he said.

"Its a great advantage for our students to be able to see the engine and sheet metal shops as well because, many of them have those skillsets already and can take what they've seen here back to their home country."
