The 433rd Airlift Wing recently hosted 65 members from the National Corvette Restorers Society July 13, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The members came from all over the United States. These Corvette enthusiasts were in town for their national convention but wanted to make a quick stop at the Alamo Wing. The tour began with a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft tour, followed by a visit to the 341st Training Squadron, and a self-guided tour of the United States Air Force Airman Heritage Museum and Enlisted Character Development Center.

During the C-5 tour members had the chance to walk through cargo hold, troop compartment and flight deck. "I thoroughly enjoyed the C-5 tour, being able to get into the cockpit was really cool," said Jonna Clark a NCRS member "My husband was an Army guy so this Air Force museum tour to me is very interesting"

At the 341st TRS the group got to witness a Military Working Dog controlled aggression demonstration. The last stop was a self-guided tour of the United States Air Force Airman Heritage Museum and Enlisted Character Development Center. Here members got a chance to see the evolution of the Air Force and the history of basic military training.

Brad Hudson a NCRS member form Chicago Illinois enjoyed visiting the 341st TRS. "I liked watching the dog demonstration, I thought it was interesting because you don't see that in the Air Force. I also thought the C-5 tour was marvelous, when I saw it I was overwhelmed at how large it really is."
