502nd ISG leadership visit 433rd Airlift Wing
502nd Installation Support Group leaders Col. Steven A. Strain, commander, Chief Master Sgt. Carey S. Jordan, command chief, and Mark J. Tharp, technical director, toured the 433rd Airlift Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas on Oct. 21, 2020. The purpose of the tour was to familiarize the new 502nd ISG leaders with the 433rd AW mission and its leaders.

Retired Reserve 'Awaiting Pay' Notification Letter Update
Effective October 1, 2020, Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center reinitiated the process to notify service members assigned to the Air Force Retired Reserve’s ‘awaiting pay’ status on the processing procedures to draw retirement pay.

For most Reserve Citizen Airmen, partial or full-time telework has become the “new normal” during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since telework poses a slew of potential information security risks, Reserve Command officials are encouraging all members of the Reserve team to stay focused on Personally Identifiable Information breach reduction while working from home.

Joint warriors utilize JBSA landing zones for vertical lift training
For the second time in as many weeks, joint warriors converged on Joint Base San Antonio-Chapman Annex to formally confirm the suitability of helicopter landing zones in order to expand the maneuver space for vertical lift operations and improve home-station training for San Antonio’s military units.
